Even though I now lead a respectable life, it was not always this way for me. I have a history of careless behavior, but that all changed when I had my fifth car accident in as many months. I knew that I wanted to have a fresh start, so I decided to change. I thought I would be able to pick the pieces back up, and that was the case for the most part. 

I did have to look into high risk car insurance though because of the numerous accidents I had been responsible for before making this life-changing decision.

I had to pay a higher premium because I was considered a high risk to the insurance company. Since it was the only way to legally drive, I didn’t have a problem with it.

I knew that if I was careful and cleaned my act up, I would be able to get my premiums lowered after a certain period of time. I took my time looking at different insurance companies, because some of them wanted to charge a ridiculous amount before I could legally drive again.

I am glad that I took my time shopping around because I did find a company that was willing to work with me. Like I said, I had to pay higher premiums, but it balanced out for the most part since I decided to opt for higher deductibles.

I am just grateful that I found a company that was willing to work with me, because I had a very poor driving record prior to my contract with them. 

I have made a lot of mistakes in my life, and I am just grateful that I was given another chance. I have not had any accidents nor have I been pulled over for any traffic offenses or violations. My future is definitely looking a lot brighter.
